CynthiaCynthia D. Beauchamp, National President of ANET has been an ADN since 1988 in Houston.  She has been working at St. Lukes Hospital since 1989. she works weekend nights 7p-7a in a 19 bed Med/Surg. ICU at the bedside.  Her unit takes care of pre and post-op liver and kidney transplants. She has been Med-Surgical certified since 1995.  Cynthia is also a member of the Rapid Response Team for her Hospital. The team covers the floors and acute areas of the hospital-not ICU. She has been a member of ANET for 5 years

Judi Cavazos, the National Executive Director of ANETsince 2002 has been nurse Health First, Inc., Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL for 27 years. 18 of those years were spent in surgical ICU. She has been married for 47 years and is the mother of seven and grandmother of 11.  She is now a Clinical Educator/Project Coordinator and Organ & Tissue Donation Liaison. She is the founder and President of HRMC’s very active Tiger Team. She is a member of National and Brevard County ANET, Donate Life Florida, the National Donor Family Council, the National Kidney Foundation, and the Brevard County Organ Transplant Support Group. She has been a liaison between the CCH & HRMC Tiger Teams for the past 9 years. Several years ago, Judi also became a “donor Mom”, Judi has received the SETA “Advocate of the Year” award twice and the MEBF “Nurse of the Year” award for her work to promote donor awareness. She was awarded the HRMC “Golden EAGLE” award in 2001 and the Health First “Golden EAGLE” award in 2005. The Tiger Team, under Judi’s direction, has been instrumental in garnering several awards of distinction for HRMC and Health First.

Nancy Chaloult, National ANET Treasurer. Nancy M. Chaloult has been a nurse for 27 years. She began her nursing career in the Air Force, in which she served 9 years active duty and 14 years reserve duty. Her career has provided her experience in medical, surgical, woman and infant, flight nursing and nursing management. Nancy currently works at the VA Clinic in Viera. She holds a master’s degree in management and national certification in nursing administration. Nancy has been a member of both National and Local Brevard County ANET for 8
years, and has held the position of Local Treasurer since 2005.

Martha Policelli Livingston, National ANET  President
Mrs. Livingston is a proud graduate of the Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing. After graduation she served as a staff nurse, then charge nurse in their medical intensive care unit when ICUs were in their pioneering phase. She then attended the Centre Universitaire Mediterranean in Nice, France.
After marrying Air Force Lieutenant Lee Livingston, she enjoyed varied experiences including Edwards AFB, California and the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland. When her husband’s assignment brought them to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, she began her employment at Cape Canaveral Hospital, where she spent fifteen years in the Emergency Department and ten years as Administrative Supervisor. During her tenure at CCH, she authored the “Travelers’ Aid Information” brochure which was distributed throughout the beaches’ hotels. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from the Saint Francis University, Brevard Campus.

Mrs. Livingston is a charter member of Brevard ANET, and has served as treasurer at both the local and national levels. She is now spending her retirement both in Florida and at her log cabin in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.

Tina

Tina Waggoner, National Executive Secretary fo ANET since 2002 is a RN and has been employed by Health First for 18 years. She has worked in various areas of the medical field including: Telemetry, Occupational Medicine, Clinical Informatics, and currently in CCH Radiology as the Clinical Systems Analyst. She holds many certifications including Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist, Licensed Health Care Risk Management, and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. She was a finalist for the Brevard County Nurse of the Year award in 1995, a recipient of the CCH Spirit award in 1996, and received the CCH EAGLES award in 2001. She is a member of both National and Brevard County ANET. She has held the position of National Executive Secretary since 2003. She is a transplant recipient and under went a kidney transplant on May 12, 1994. She has also participated in the US Transplant Games several times, winning Silver and Bronze medals. Tina is married to Steve who is also an active ANET member. He is a huge support to Tina and is also very active in promoting organ, tissue, and cornea donations.

Mary

Mary Gainey, Lifetime Member and Past National Executive Director of ANET, is now National Vice President. Mary graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1961.Her career has included most aspects of nursing, primarily hospital based. She has also done home-care and Hospice. Travel nursing was her latest venture. She is now per diem in Pediatrics at Health-First Cape Canaveral Hospital.
In the 80’s she became interested in Organ and tissue donation. She helped form a Tiger Team to assist promoting donation, and educating staff and the general public regarding the urgent need for donors, and the success of transplantation. She also formed the first local chapter of ANET, Association of Nurses Endorsing Transplantation, and was the first President. On a National level, she served as President of ANET and later became the Executive Director.
     On a personal level , her husband, Gary Brewer, died during a heart transplant operation in 1985. The next fall, a conference was started in his memory, “Life, Keep It Going” which is still a major source of education about organ donation and transplantation.
Mary has four daughters, two sons, one grandson, and seven grand daughters.

Miranda

Miranda Kelly MSN, RN, ACNP-CS. Immediate Past National President , lives in Spring Texas and has been a nurse for 20 years. She has worked in different roles and different areas, including the Transplant service in Houston. Miranda enjoyed caring for the transplant patients and has been a supporter of organ donation and transplantation for a long time. She currently works with the neurosciences service line and her focus has changed to one of encouraging organ donation and utilization of the organ procurement organization and system. She is an active member in the local and state ANET organization and the treasurer for the local chapter in Houston.
